I write about daily life, homeschooling, curriculum choices, politics, Catholicism, and whatever else I feel like to help other homeschoolers and like-minded people and share little tidbits about my life, faith, and political views. I do this because I enjoy connecting with other homeschoolers, like-minded people, and being a bit of a mentor to those new to homeschooling.
So now that you know why this blog is here a little about myself: I'm a wife, virtual assistant, coffee lover, and mom to two young adults. I have been married to my husband for over 20 years. We didn't always start out as homeschoolers, Chef (formally known as Superstar/SS) and Artist/ (formally known as Web-Princess/WP) did go to public school in the earlier years. Chef attended for K/1st grade and Artist attended for PreK/K. They both were homeschooled from 1st/2nd grade to 8th grade.
As we approached high school age Chef ended up going to the local public high school, but I continued to teach Artist at home and graduated her May 2020 from our homeschool program.
I’m very involved with Homeschool Resource Roadmap and the community built around it.
